i just could not find the exact text/words but i read somewhere that we should be more cautious/conscious/careful when we are being praised for our good traits, when people see our positive character.. because they cannot see the other side of you and it could mean that you are successful at pretending, hiding your imperfections.
i remember someone saying that s/he thinks i have the makings of a real good friend. that's flattering but i didn't like it, too. it feels like i have to level up to her/his expectations.. and i don't want to pretend.. and i don't want to disappoint her/him... because i also think s/he has a good heart. with a crazy nut. :p

Trivia :
"Here’s something you may not know about organic: They’re physical appearance won’t be perfect. They’ll have pockmarks. Flaws. Blemishes.
Why? Because they don’t have insecticides to protect them from bugs.
Some people who don’t know this will choose the “perfect” veggies. The ones with no defects. No wounds. No scars.
A pity. Because their perfection is fake. They don’t have scars because they’re covered with a truckload of chemicals. A few of them may even be poisonous. They keep out the enemy, but they also make the veggie very unhealthy."
