no matter how unprepared some groups were, teachers and classmates were still seen cheering for their respective groups. not one ashamed face was there. teachers were actually noisier than the participants. one teacher commented, "nawala ang pagka-teacher namin noh, ma'am..?"
the gathering was so colorful, joyous.
damn, i get sooo overwhelmed and emotional when i see scenes like these. groups of children united in one celebration, all smiles displaying their talents... you could sense their excitement yet you sense varying emotions from their faces - some are shy, some are out to show off, some little boys holding some little girls hand, some of them wants to make somebody proud, some are just there to be with barkadas... ayayay, i could not help but be teary-eyed. no joke. dinaan ko na lang sa tawa to cover my craziness. but i was really, really teary-eyed. i was so moved, i wanted to cry. pero para naman akong tanga, di ba..kung iiyak ako dun habang lahat sila eh nakangiti, tuwang-tuwa sa mga nangyayari.
i rarely go down to watch events because most of the time they are not that well-orgainzed. the event today was still the same, chaotic - what do you expect, the participants are children, running around like there was no tomorrow. but today, i had fun. one of the few good times.
