just got back from our halloween event... sooo tired... but it was fun!

our categories were (supposed to be) best superhero, best sidekick, best villain, best prince and best princess. yet, the event were also flocked by other weird, scary, non-living, yucky characters. so we awarded 3 "other" winners : they were a Japanese girl (are japanese girls scary? or was she supposed to be under the best princess category? oops!), a mushroom and Captain Barbel (i think the judges did not see that he was actually CB).

the best superhero was Hellboy (with that red face and big hand), best sidekick was Amapura (Dyesebel's sidekick lol), best villain was a headless bride (t'was actually funny, the kid could not come up the stage by herself), best prince was a baby boy wearing a white robe (to me he looked like a majestic king, to Angge et al he looked like Sto. Niño hehe), and the best princess was wearing a garbage-inspired dress/gown made out of straw, garbage plastics, empty shampoo sachets with candies that accentuated the whole item.

there were many other interesting and creative costumes but like other contests, we had to pick only a few.

why am i sooo tired? sooo tired because the event was not well-organized (after many years of experience by our events officer). still, i supported her all the way (gusto na nga ako ipabaril sa Luneta ni Janys e haha) inspite of losing my voice, starvation, stress, etc... because i see children having fun, parents and relatives being proud, spectators enjoying the sight, and we organizers getting hungry and possessed. haha.

ayun na naman ako, gusto kong maluha at the mere sight of the kids. i missed Stef and Troy so much. i wish i could bring them and have them trick-or-treating, kahit si Stef muna sana, pero hindi ko din kasi s'ya maasikaso. :(

to the illegal photographers : as much as i want you to advance in your business, you didn't have any permits kasi... so we had to shoo you away. ang titigas pa ng ulo n'yo. tignan ba ko ng masama..? ayayay!

side note : i wish, next time our security officers would be around to assist. hindi yung tipong kailangan pa silang tawagin dahil hindi na kaya ng mga islow nilang staff. nakakahiya. yung mga lalaki pa nilang staff ang hindi alert. yung mga babe pa ang alert at naghahawi ng crowd traffic. sheeesh.
