1. when i was in grade 6, i played "patintero" during our Intramurals. it was a new sport then na in-include sa games. we were the pioneers of that sport in our school, and i believe our adviser-coach thinks i was one of her best players, because suddenly she knew and were calling out my name. i was her 'strategy'. i was her 'decoy'. :p

2. i love my lola aida. i was her favorite apo (most favorite until Miko and Enzo came along). ang sobrang namimiss ko sa kanya yung pag-aasikaso nya saken - kahit lumaki na ko, kahit nuong nagkasakit na sýa (kaya inuutos na lang nya sa katulong), kahit anong oras pa ko makauwi sa bahay.

up to now i still wonder if i had chances on saving her from dying and if i had let that chance pass. i still feel guilty. i wonder if it would have made a difference if i slept in her room that night to keep track of her health/heart status.

3. i loooove my cousins! both Serranos and Azanzas.

4. i'm sooo proud of my mom. cliche aside, i really think she's the best mom and best friend ever - even if we used to fight and argue a lot. lasengga kasi ako nuon at pasaway. haha. i miss our bonding time - watching TV at home, watching movies at Glorietta, eating Subway sandwhiches, net surfing at Glorietta, pampering ourselves with massage at Let's Face It, laughing at other people and life stories. she's sooo cool and i think she's beautiful. mas mukha pa kong nanay sa kanya, gosh. i love her.

5. i love eating! matakaw ako, promise. i love Subway Seafood, Jamaican patties, fruit salad, White Hat yogurt, sansrival, pizzas and pastas. i love desserts.

6. i like the colors black, red, green, purple, blue and orange. i used to own and wear a looooooot of black clothes.

7. my other first name is Ivy, and i know a few more Ivy's in this lifetime --- "highschool classmate" Ivy (manio), "college classmate" Ivy (sorreda), another "college classmate" Ivy (corpuz), theater org-mate Ivy and MC's exgirlfriend Ivy. i might have forgotten the other Ivys I've met.

8. i consider myself a 'batang kalye' when i was a kid. i was almost always out of the house, playing with the other kids from the line of apartment where we used to stay and kids from outside the apartment premises. me and my friends even befriended and played with the basurero kids from the squatters area. we stayed up so late all for the love of being together and riding bikes. we would take turns. we would also feast on street foods - fishball and isaw were and are still my favorites.

9. i fondly remember 2 of the basurero kids -- brothers Lito and Ompong. for one, Lito and my cousin Chec had a 'thing'. haha! (chec will kill me for exposing this!) it's not a serious thing, alright? i think Chec fancied Lito because we tease them. sooo funny! second, how can I ever forget Ompong who smelled really awful and had "braces" -- no, not the real ones. it was tartar consuming his teeth which looked like braces! hahaha. third, up to now i still feel guilty, like I need to apologize to Lito kasi pinatid ko s'ya na tipong tumilapon talaga s'ya sa daan. kung nagkataon pa na umaga nung nangyari yun, baka nasagasaan pa s'ya ng kotse sa daan. buti na lang it was a lazy afternoon then at wala masyadong dumadaan na kotse. sorry, Tolits.

10. it was my mom who taught me first to take alcoholic drinks. it was my 16th birthday. we were in Baguio. :)

11. i met Chito Miranda (Parokya ni Edgar) personally through the efforts of college friend Ivy C. neighbors sila sa Project 6 na malapit lang sa house ni Mama dati sa Project 8. then, he invited me to his house. sama naman ako, even without Ivy C. kapal ba ng mukha? haha ..i almost forgot na may alaga nga pala s'yang sawa, until nilabas nya yun. eh ano pang magagawa ko, di ba? eh di hindi na lang ako gumalaw. haha napansin naman n'ya ko kaya sabi n'ya, "sige na nga itatago ko na, natatkot na ka na eh." hehehe

eto pa! nakita n'yang may nakasabit na ID sa back pocket ko. bigla ba naman hinablot at tinitigan yun napakapangit kong picture sa lecheng ID na yun. ayun, nag-aagawan kami sa ID. hanggang sa napagod na kaming dalawa and he decided to give up after many, many minutes. LOL bwiset. anyway, he probably does not remember me nor these stories anymore. :p

12. i miss being single. i miss being lazy. i miss being irresponsible. hehehe

13. i like falling asleep with the TV on. i want somebody else to turn it off for me when i'm already sleeping or i'll just turn it off when i wake up at dawn.

14. i used to leave half-empty/half-filled glasses wherever part of our house i go to (just like Potria, Ellen Degeneres' wife). you'll find them in the sala, my room, near the tv set, at the terrace, etc.

15. i took swimming lessons on a summer when i was around 13 or 14 years old. bragging aside, i think i was one of the batch's best swimmers. i was commended by our coach, used as an example many times and considered a threat by the boys team whenever we had races. hehe

16. there was a moment in my 4th year in college that i wanted to shift from AB CommArts to Interior Design, but shrugged it off because i thought it was just too late to shift courses. magagalit lang si papa for my being fickle-minded. :p

17. in HS, i didn't audition for the school's dance troop because i was shy and was scared of being rejected. instead, i co-founded (though never given much credit) an independent hip-hop dance group that wowed the crowd. :)

18. i almost auditioned for Ang TV, together with my cousin Chec and San Juan barkadas. hindi lang kami pinayagan umalis. hehehe

19. i like eHeads, but i was a big fan of Rivermaya during HS! i even had my Atomic Bomb 'tapes' (i bought 2 tapes and gave 1 to Lea - wala pa kong budget para sa CD nuon) and posters signed by the whole band.

20. i used to be in a band. haha. we only had 3 gigs tapos hindi ko na sila sinipot ulit. sayang. hihi

21. i agree with what Lea once told me - i wouldn't be 'biway' if i did not have eyebags, at hindi bagay saken na wala ako nun. hahaha.

22. i didn't like Science during my 1st year HS so my grades were flanking. until my heart got broken by a pseudo-suitor when i found out that he was also courting one of my barkadas (na-basted naman sya, belat! haha). sakto final exams namin, so i diverted my energy to reviewing... my 75 shoot up to 85 or 87 (yata) -- takang-taka ang titser ko haha.

23. in college theater, 2 main characters from 2 different stageplays were offered to me by the directors. haba ng hair ko di ba, ako ang pipili. kaso natakot ako sa haba ng script na kakabisaduhin ko sa June at Johnny. so, i picked Ambon ng Kristal instead whose script was way shorter and the director was one of my mentors since i entered theater.

24. i used to eat too much mangoes that it caused me bungang-araw all summer. sarap kasi eh!

25. i almost took Political Science in college pero na-discourage ako ng recitations and debates (i'd rather watch and listen pala), and our prof kept picking on me. "Ms. Serrano." -- haay, recitation, ako na naman.
