Challenge Your Brains

i'm proud to be a donor of 1,450 grains (and still counting) of rice today =)

Cyprus was bored awhile ago. He's done with his work for the day, so he was bugging me by talking-reading out loud about "warts" from the internet. What a topic! I told him to stop talking about warts and asked him to go to Freerice.com instead. I told him it's a more sensible way to waste time.

He was challenged by the default English vocabulary game, but i suggested he changes his game subject to Math since he's good at it (he's an engineer). ang yabang nga eh, wala daw challenge yung questions sa Math. pero in fairness, ang galing nga naman nya - fractions, decimals, to the Nth power, chuvaloo. haha! sabi ko, i should let him tutor my kids when they're already attending school.

he enjoyed answering the questions and equations. he liked Math, i liked English vocab. when i didn't know the answer to a Math challenge, i would ask him. when he doesn't know the answer to an English vocab, he would ask me. i also tried Math, Chemistry, Geography, English grammar and Spanish vocab (while i sang 'Do-do-do-do-do-Dora!'.

Guess what, he earned more and faster than I did. haha.

o di ba, we're having fun.. and we're feeding children as well! =)
