nonetheless, i enjoy the web. but it's so anti-social in a way inspite of the attempts to make it sociable. it's still way better to be living a life off-line than on-line.

dati i blogged about our Resident Evil, este, Resident Engineer who was having an affair with a new-hire for another branch was the talk of the office because of their sudden disappearances and sweaty comebacks. haha ...i joined the chismisan because i really hate RE (presko at mayabang) and the girl is sooo feeling beautiful.
anyway, two more affair-attempts soon followed. affair number one is still in the works. let's name the guy Malanding Bakulaw because he really is malandi and he's tall like how we imagine a typical bakulaw look. lol. anyway, Malanding Bakulaw or MB harrases almost all the assistants in this office. and, for some yucky reason, he preys on our receptionist, Jen. i think the reason is because Jen is so kind and she finds it hard to be mean (even when needed) and she also finds it hard to say "no" -- which was confirmed to me by Angelique, Jen's confidante and our department's assistant. Jen is also scared to offend him because he's one of her bosses. sabi nga namin ni Angelique, "Buti sana kung gwapo! Eh feeling gwapo lang." eew. MB is still trying to secretly pursue Jen. Jen is still trying to extend her tolerance. And, we're still trying to tolerate MB's existence. ngarr.
the second love affair involves a new-hire HR and an older man who's been employed here ever since the world began. his being a veteran gave him the self-imposed authority to elevate himself to an officer level which was also tolerated by other veteran officers and kiss-ass managers. and, since he has this overflowing confidence of a self-imposed officer, gullible new-hires believe him so and his confidence. i've mentioned them before here.
around lunchtime, a text message coming from BB (the feeling officer) irritated me. his text message was asking me to forget all about the things he said/shared about "their relationship". His text reads (with my comments) --
"Macau favor lang, dont tell 2 her na cnabi ko sau neh..
--at bakit ko na naman sasabihin sa kanya? to embarrass her?
"at kalimutan u na un..
--as if i'm keeping it on top of my mind.. madami din ako ibang iniisip noh.. no to showbiz?
"iiwasan ko na xa.just 2 protect her..keep it sicret wat i told 2 u..she's so scared..
-- yeah, u better.. kasi pag nakarating sa HR manager na mismong staff nya eh may sumthing sumthing with you, who has a wife and two kids.... tigbak ang beauty nyan.. kita mo nga naman noh, ngayon nyo lang naisip.. tsk. at sana kasi hindi mo pinagsabi kina Miami, Denmark at Cyprus (hindi mo kasi matiis eh!).. and if i remember it right, you were bragging to your veteran barkada about how easy it would be to pop her cherry..di ba?
i trust you, mhirap tlg kc..
--really?? if you did, you wouldn't have thought of the need to text me about this..
"its gud experience 4 me..
--wow, ano kayang experience yun..?
"pls. wag u na snang pag usapan.."
-- hindi ko dini-discuss ang relationship nyo even if i'm sooo bored.. actually, yung mga tao na pumupunta sa table ko, sila ang nago-open ng topic na yan.. sana ma-text mo din sila before it's too late.. tsk.
"i want 2 protect her..tnx"
-- ay anyabay.
