ay. i have many things to talk about (or write about) that happened for the past few days. i'll just start with...
birthday
my birthday was a day after our 3-day sale. i filed for vacation leave weeks before which was supposed to start right after the sale but for some department concerns and upcoming events i had to still report for work after the sale. instead of enjoying a 4-day vacation, it was cut to 3. pwede na din.
on the eve of my birthday, we just watched Wolverine. jeff and i enjoyed the movie A LOT. sabi ni jeff, it was bitin. i said, "parang bitin lang kasi ayaw natin matapos yung story..pero actually, buo naman yung istorya." nonetheless, we're happy about the movie and we can't wait for the next Xmen Origin movie. =)
the next day (my birthday), we just stayed at home in the morning. when we were about to get ready to go to the mall, stef fell asleep. if we waited for her to wake up first before leaving, gagabihin na kami. so we left without stef.
we went to the mall, DUH? haha ..eh san pa ba? anyway, i got myself a full body massage at Spa Signature. got 20% discount for being a mall admin employee. ang saya! =) since it was a week day, i think there were only two of us who had the whole spa to ourselves. haha! sulit. the music that was playing was sooo relaxing, i was tempted to ask the title of the CD so i can buy myself a copy.. but i was too soothed and extremely enjoying the rub i was getting from Hazel, my attendant. :)
until i received a text....
jeff : musta? tapos na ba? dito ako BLAH BLAH BLAH
receiving this text, i already knew he was getting bored and might be a little angry for making him wait, and he might pull me out from the spa anytime. so i replied,
me : hindi pa tapos eh.. why? inip ka na?
jeff : just checking... masarap ba? BLAH BLAH BLAH
whoah, hindi siya galit. hehehehe that's why i was able to continue with enjoying the massage. :) when i got out of the spa, jeff was already outside
after the body massage, we ate at Reyes Barbeque. jeff ordered for pork barbeque. i ordered grilled bangus. yummy, yummy, yummy! =) i usually order liempo but the bangus was equally great. hindi bitin. =)
after dinner, we watched "He's Not Just Into You". i enjoyed it very much. i think, every girl, woman or lady would. but jeff was bored. :p haha! uttering half way through the story, "p*tangna, pambabae pala 'to eh," matching a half-smile on his face. eh s'ya kaya ang pumili over "Crank 2". my words of encouragement were, "di bale, you're making me happy naman," sabay ngiti.
you see, marriage needs a lot of compromising. so before you swear such vows, you better be armed with tons of compromising skills, if not 'sales talk' skills. hehehe
anyway, jeff survived the movie naman. hahaha!
in return, i had to endure "Crank 2" which in the end Jeff didn't like, too. Jason Stotham wasted everything he had banked his talent on. DON'T watch Crank 2. it's nonsense. it's impossible. it's waste of money. it's waste of time. it's waste of your resources. eeew. it's made of too much crap. come to think of it, it should have been entitled "Crap 2".
