When I've shown you that I just don't care
When I'm throwing punches in the air
When I'm broken down and I can't stand
Will you be strong enough to be my man?
actually, i like the 4th line better when it's "would you be man enough to be my man?" the lyric just sends me straight up to mushy-world. hihihi ..how insane, noh?
pero naman, slice through.. the lyrics is very relative. i think every girl who's been through so much would want or need someone strong enough to carry her when the need arises. i guess, in any (kind of) relationship, when one is weak, the other should come in to guide or whatever. it's a partnership.
(^*^)
thank heavens, (i think) our local radio station finally hired younger DJs (kahit pa-cool yung iba, cge pwede na din) and they have now better playlists. so far, they've been giving me ear candies this afternoon. no crappy songs for today, i guess. i hope.
BUT, since i don't want to flood my blog with too many lyrics, here are some excerpts from the songs that i've been loving lately that played on the radio today =)
i like Ne-Yo's "Miss Independent" so much but "Forget About Me" easily stuck to my head because... uh, i like sad songs. hahaha! both songs share the same melody, using different lyrics. but it's originally Ne-Yo. here are excerpts (parts that i like) from the two songs.
"Miss Independent" by Ne-Yo
She got her own thing
that's why I love her
Miss Independent
Ooh the way you shine
Miss Independent
"Forget About Me" by Little Bit
Why don't you love me?
The way I loved you
It felt so crazy
'Coz I don't know what I did to you
If you're gonna hurt me
Then do it quickly
'Coz I'm tired of cryin'
If you don't wanna stick around
Then, baby forget about me
I also heard a new song (at least , new to me) a while ago. it's "Shawty Is Your Booty" by Qwote .. but there's not much to the lyrics so i'm not posting it here... yet. :)
